The Society held their competition in July with the theme of Sky. This gave the photographers the challenge of creating unique images of an everyday subject.
Andy Hunting was 1st in the individual, and 2nd in the group competition, with a range of dynamic photographs, depicting sunsets in Lanzarote and Iceland.
Veronica Watson was 1st in the group, and 2nd in the individual competition, with photographs of Iceland’s Northern lights, and sunrise and sunset at home and abroad.
Gordon Brown took 3rd place in the individual competition with a beautiful image of the coast of England.
St John Burkett was 4th in the individual competition with a lovely picture of Blakeney on the north Norfolk coast.
In the group competition, Tom Carlill took 3rd place with his inspiring photographs of the sky at night including a fireworks display.
