The Stamford and Rutland Photographic Society took part in the monthly competition with this months theme being Water. Unlike most completion this was via a projected image rather than printed images. The theme was interpreted in a number of ways with water spray being frozen as well as long exposures showing the flow of the water and a variety of reflections.
The individual and group competitions were won by John Hillier. His winning image captured water droplets against a colourful background. His group included reflections and sea spray
Tom Carlill was second in both competitions with a range of images including water spray generated by horses at Burghley and sailing boats as well as droplets on a leaf
St John Burkett was 3rd in the individual and 5th in the group with a range of reflections
Peter Bower was 4th individual and 3rd in the group with a long exposure of a waterfall as well as reflections
Following the completion Tom Carlill gave a demonstration of various photo editing techniques using lightroom.
